Parenting is one of themes rewarding jobs we are given on this earring - but it can also be one of the most challenging. As has often been said, that cute little gurgling bundle of joy doesn't come with an owner's manual. The only preparation we are given for this new job is whatever we can remember from how our parents raised us - but these memories are from a child's perspective, not an adult's. And sometimes, there may be better ways of dealing with some child raising issues than the way our parents dealt with them. For both of these reasons, it is imperative that we seek out as much information as possible about raising children, learning as much as we can from others who've gone before us. That is the purpose of this site: to provide parenting information to those who seek it. Some of this information will be from veteran parents; some of it from experts in this field.
